Take a look at the 3rd picture. I am always amazed that NYC had 2 ballparks situated so close to each other.

Can you imagine if Wrigley Field was across the Chicago River from US Cellular?

If I could go back in time I would really like to see a game at the Polo Grounds and Ebbets Field.

Surprised that there were no photos of when the Mets played there.
Love to see the one of Casey Stengel asleep in the dugout during another loss.

The racing slide reminds me of a little known Soldier Field event. Back in the 1956, Soldier Field was home to its first and only NASCAR race. A half mile oval was laid out in the stadium, and Fireball Roberts won the race. Perhaps Daver can offer a few more details.

Interesting that they left out 1934 NFL Championship game, the famous "Sneakers Games", and didn't have one of Carl Hubble, the great Giants picher who had the struck out Babe Ruth, Lou Gerhig, Jimmy Foxx, Al Simmons, and Joe Cronin , all in row, in 1934 All-Star game.
