 Thanks for what? The Sox lost 90 games in 2007.

Another "can't miss" prospect turns into a journeyman...at best.

Unfortunately again showing the necessity of teal.

Fields was never a "can't miss" prospect. In fact the only bonafide blue chip positional prospect to go through our system in quite a few years was LTP. Sure, we've had some good prospects from our system fail, but none of the "cant miss" variety. That label should be for top 10-15 type prospects. Fields, Anderson, Sweeney and the like would have all been 4 star type of guys.

GMAB... This is the 1st time anyone has ever called Josh Fields a can't miss prospect.

You keep fighting that fight, Lip. Organized minor league baseball has only been around for 65 years. THAT BRANCH RICKEY WAS AN IDIOT.

"104 interesting pro plate appearances....."
If I was Fields and read that, I might have my agent contact NFL teams in need of a backup QB.

I hear the Vikings may have a need...

Josh Fields has tremendous power. However, he also has a hole in his swing the size of Texas and is injury prone. Good luck in Pittsburgh.

"He says you have a hole in your swing."
