Minimum order of 4 tickets. Lower Reserve vouchers are $34 each, and Upper Reserve are $15 each.
Good for Tues-Thurs Regular/Prime Games(color coded green and yellow on schedule).
Ticketmaster fees apply.
Tickets ship as early as 12/13 with all orders made by 12/17 mailed out in time to be by you on 12/24.

Brewers do the same thing(without the weekend restrictions), and it's a great idea, and a nice inexpensive present for baseball fans.

It would be a risk for a team that knew it could sell those tickets later, but I don't think the Sox or the Brewers would have to worry about selling tickets for the weekend, especially early in the season. Even if it's setting aside a max. number of tickets (1,000?) for a set number of games (10 games?), it would be a much better chance at increasing revenue. Most of those buyers would also pay for parking and concessions, so maybe including a deal for a parking pass or slightly discounted concession cash would work too.
