I hope they hang on. 5 run lead, Twinkee Dome, and Brewer pitching doesn't instill tons of confidence that this one is a lock. Hang on you cheese heads!!!

Brewers are 2-9 in interleague play. Both wins are against the Twins. I'm not accusing them of any cheating, but they brought their "special" bats today.

Stairs hit a monster. Similar to Mo Vaugns earlier this week. Upper deck, the ball was still rising, yada yada yada. Even more scary, good starting pitching.

Yeah, but you guys never whine about that corked turf you play on...

Nobody ever complained about the Metrodome when the Twins were only winning 69 games. I don't feel that bad for teams that bitch about the field just because they can't win on it.

You have to admit with the concrete turf and the white roof, it is the single greatest home field advantage in baseball, hands down. What gets me is the way the ball travels through the air... Did you guys cork that stuff too?

I'll let you in on a secret. Each time the Twins come to the plate the season ticket holders start blowing in a counter-clockwise motion. This indoor motion causes the balls to sail unpredictably against the opposing defenses, yet it is undetectable by the umpiring crew.

They almost got busted in 1997 when commissioner Selig was in town getting a loan from Pohlad and he happened to be sitting in the box seats, luckily a security guard distracted him by 'accidentily' spilling a drink all over his lap. Greatest moment in Twins' history.

The scariest time was in 1999 when season ticket sales hovered just below 5035 seats. The engineering staff had planned for a minimum of 5000 "blowers" per game. It's also part of how the roof is suspended. If you ever are at the Dome, don't look up, there's nothing supporting the roof besides air.

I digress, luckily by the time the opposing teams bat the centrificul forces have dissapated and the Twins make their amazing plays look incredibly easy.

I don't need to tell you this is all classified.

:)
