Probably a nice fit. Wouldn't be surprised if he puts up a line similar to his season in Atlanta.

All I can say is good luck, Javy. Let's hope Florida gets the Atlanta Jay and not the Sox Javy.

This is a good move for both sides, Javy will be closer to his home in Puerto Rico, face easier lineups and is in a no pressure sort of environment where he typically thrives like in Montreal. For Florida, they can get a plus pitcher.

As long as the Marlins don't become competitive next year, this will be a great deal for them.

As long as the Marlins don't become competitive next year, this will be a great deal for them.
If the Marlins have their typical 80W-82L type of year, I can see Javy winning 15 or 16 games.
