I think an argument could be made that he belonged ahead of Bautista, but otherwise, the voting seemed about right.

Congrats to Hamilton, no real surprised there. I also agree that Konerko and Bautista should have switched spots in the voting but otherwise the voting seemed fine.

Some people are impressed with stats.

Hamilton may have deserved it, but I'm a little surprised he won it being out late in the season.

Sorry guys, if a mod wants he can change my title. I saw it at work and the ESPN site didn't list top 5, just top 4, so I was bummed for him at the time. Nothing wrong at all being the 5th best player in the AL.

Yep, a good showing for Konerko; I agree that with the exception of the Bautista placement, it was pretty much spot-on. Bottom line it was a great year for Paul and better than I think just about anybody expected.
