Here's Part 1 of a locally produced documentary about the closing of the old Comiskey Park in 1990. This was technically an installment of a show called "Polka Videos With Keith Stras", and shown on the short-lived and little-seen ETC - Ethnic Television Channel.

Features interviews with various famous people such as Charles Comiskey II, partial owner of the Chicago White Sox Eddie Einhorn, Jeff Torborg, Minnie Minoso, Donn Pall, Andy The Clown, Nancy Faust, Governor James R. "Jim" Thompson, Mayor Richard M. Daley, and more.

Fuzzy memories is a great site. I have to think that whoever runs it is a Sox fan as there is plenty of White Sox footage on there.

Jen Weigel (Tim's daughter has provided many of those tapes) as her Dad kept everything

My Dad took me to my first Sox game on July 25th, 1990 for my 16th birthday. I saw Michael Jordan take batting practice that day. I'll never forget that season - so many fond memories. Ranks #2 behind the 2005 club.
