Yah why would a team with no left handed hitting and no first baseman or dh want one of the 10 best hitters in the game? LONG LIVE MARK KOTSAY!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's not happening...

...Unless the brewers' GM completely lost his mind, that is...

Having said that, if Christmas came early, I'd be happy to help Edwin Jackson pack and move. Hell, I'd send a FLEET of limos to pick him and his gear up to help make it happen quicker.

But yeah, this isn't happening. The kid writing the story isn't thinking this one through.

Yah why would a team with no left handed hitting and no first baseman or dh want one of the 10 best hitters in the game?Who will be very expensive, and who is likely to have a short-lived career due to excessive weight. Guys built like him don't usually have long careers.

No. Will Peavy be the Cy Young Peavy on Opening Day next year? If the answer is 100% yes (and it isn't), then maybe the deal would help the Sox.

Makes TOTAL sense that the rebuilding Brewers would trade for a Scott Boras client that is 1 year away from free agency for another Scott Boras client that is one year away from free agency.

For real. We'll be right back here wondering why Jim Thome didn't come back.

Well, if anything, this article shoots down that recent MLB trade rumor piece about the Sox trading Beckham.
In the meantime, trading Edwin for Prince would be highway robbery on the part of the Sox. Kenny, do it.

Right, because the only two possibilities for first base next year for the Sox are Mark Kotsay and Prince Fielder.
