The madness that is the offseason will soon begin. MLB.com recently posted a schedule/primer for the important dates. It also notes the changes that were made this year. A few noteworthy starting points/deadlines were moved up.

Currently, free agents are in the 5 day window for exclusive negotiations with their old club. That ends Saturday.

I need some time during the offseason to get my blood-pressure back in check, heh. The thing that is the MLB regular season is definitely a marathon, and the Sox had a marathon while on a roller coaster track, haha.
