AJ::smile:

His walk off homer against the Dodgers in 2005
Barret and him fight back in 2006
Catching Mark Buehrle's no hitter in 2007
Drop third strike in the ALCS in 2005
making the All Star team in 2006
The applause he got as Flowers replaced him today

PK::smile:
Making four All Star games
Grand Slam in the 2005 World Series
Three Home run game on July 7th, 2009
game tying HR off of Mariano Rivera in August 2006
grand slam on 10-1-10, could be his last with the Sox
The standing applause and Paulie chant as Kotsay went out to take over for him today

These are just my personal favorites, post yours below.

I believe each clinching game in 05 was in Pauly's glove.

Caught Polanco's line drive to win the central.
Received the throw from Iguchi to sweep the Red Sox.
Stepped on first base to clinch the pennant against the Angels.
Received the throw from Uribe to win it all. Go Crazy.

Hardly a great moment.

Definitely Konerko's Slam against the Stros.

A.J's bomb againt the Dodgers.

Those two had me jumping out of my seat for minutes and watching the replay with goosebumps for hours.

AJ's homer against the Dodgers was the moment I just knew the Sox were going all the way in 2005.

For me, the best highlight of the 2005 World Series is the grand slam. Even more than Podsednik's walk-off.

As mentioned above all clinching outs of 2005 were at first.

For AJ, the Dodger homer. Also he hit a 3 run homer in the top of the 9th to go ahead at Wrigley - I think in 2006 - good times.

I also seem to remember some sort of controversial dropped third strike - when was that again?

AJ's homer vs the Dodgers

Konerko's slam against the Astros

I was lucky enough to be there for both of them.

Hardly a great moment.

But certainly memorable :wink:

Robin Ventura getting his ass kicked by Nolan Ryan is memorable, too, but not one of his greatest moments.

I'd say AJ's dropped third strike was his greatest moment with the Sox, as it somewhat encapsulized his best quality as a player - being smart and opportunistic. I'd put the Dodgers walkoff homer as a close second, his grand slam at Wrigley at #3, his 1/2-way to St. Patty's Day 2006 walkoff as #4, and his "fielder's interference" against Tampa in '08 as #5. IMHO, of course.

AJ's best quality can't be quantified in any way, and it has nothing to do with his physical abilities.

Oh, we could debate "great" but it was certainly a fun day... although I think more of Iguchi responding with a grand slam that inning (or an inning later?)

I've seen the photo for the bat flip around online (obviously), but does anyone know where I can buy a legit copy of this photo? I have looked off and on for years, to no avail.
