Not surprising. It's amazing how far this team has fallen since Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS.

Should be interesting to see if Hahn interviews or not.

Minaya was terrible. Will Hahn finally jump ship?

Tough break for Jerry. He was put behind the 8 ball the second he became manager. He will find something soon.
I think Reinsdorf has to wonder how much he wants Hahn to stay, if it's a lot, then he'll probably promote Williams.

Will Wally Backman get his chance??? Gary Carter...maybe even Joey Cora??

Hmmm, I wonder if NYM have a 'DumpJerry' on their fan forum who is celebrating wildly tonight?

Would Kenny take that job? I wouldn't mind seeing him leaving and I think the Mets would be a good fit for him.

They have a bigger payroll and revenue streams, but the Wilpons would not love his outspoken persona. They have tended to make strange management decisions. I think he'd be outstanding for them, but don't bet on them making a bold move.

Minaya was awful. Manuel tries hard, but veteran players just don't respond to his style. It happened with the Sox, and similar things happened here in Queens too. He also has lapses in communication about roles. The difference was that he was never seen as the guy from day 1 with the Mets. I think a young team like KC could be a fit.

This was known for weeks. Minaya, by all accounts, is a nice guy, but he's a lousy GM. Manuel, well, I think he's awake now.

Then again, it's hard to win when you have guys who never play like Reyes and Beltran and keep teasing with their unique skill sets.

They need another starter, a whole new bullpen, Kevin McReynolds, Keith Hernandez, David Cone, and Darryl Strawberry.
