With Bud retiring in the next year or two. Any ideas who might replace him?

As well as one who will make Mattingly SHAVE THOSE SIDEBURNS when he is managing the Dodgers next season!

It'll be someone already in MLB. I doubt an outsider will be the face of the owners.

This is not an attempt to get political, but the name George W. Bush has come up from time to time. Former Rangers owner who loves the game. We'll leave it at that here. Want to comment beyond his MLB experience, go to www.wsiforums.com.

That would be Bud 2. I think they are going to look for a real leader this time.

I think it is going to be a darkhorse from the MLB HQ in NY. Someone very knowledgable of the conditions of the CBA, the Revenue side, and MLB Properties and Media.

Selig's tenure has been a very strong one. He may be made to look the fool by the media, but he has ushere din major change. MLB's internet division is the talk of the entire global sports world. The wild card has been a huge success.

I will be shocked if it isn't Bob Dupuy.
