View Full Version : Sox marketing and it's affect on the team

OK, we know the ideas themselves have been horrible. But, they seem to like jinx the team or something.

Last year we had "It's Time", and we found out, it was time for Harold Baines to go, and the team was hurt and bad.

This year we get "Come ready to play", and we find out that this team plays corpseball and lies down after 6, more often then not.

How about next year, we just make it nice and simple? "White Sox baseball, fill our seats". The worst thing that could come of it would be, the fans not coming.

Just my thoughts.

"White Sox Baseball: We're better than the Bulls"

Well, if we're going for the reverse affect, how about...

White Sox baseball... We suck!

That could be a nifty tag.

I'm reminded of David Letterman's joke about the New Jersey state motto for their license plates:

New Jersey: Try Our Thick, Creamy Milkshakes.
