I am completely ignorant about how this works, so can someone please explain it to me. :?:

Now that the White Sox have retired Frank's #35 jersey, can I buy a brand new official or replica jersey at the Souveneir shop in The Cell or at Grandstand?

Short answer: Yes. The Cell's gift shops were selling replicas throughout the Yankees series. I imagine that Grandstand also has replicas, but they can probably do an authentic as well.

I think Grandstand also has 1990 home throwback jerseys.

I had heard from a random fan that it was only temporary (which is what I was worried about). I just didn't know the rules of jersey production for players once they retired, etc.

I should have thought of this before...calling Grandstand. (They are always very helpful).

I talked to one of the women there. They now have in authentic jerseys, replica jerseys and the t-shirt "jerseys". :D:

I know MLB has goofy rules, but why on Earth would anyone not want to sell jerseys of all-time greats after they retire??

I'm pretty sure I've seen a lot of Fisk 72 jerseys in 1983 colors. I've seen 11 jerseys in 1959 colors.

Big Hurt's jersey was one of the best presents I received as a kid. I will definitely be getting another one soon.

Triple Threat Sports Mokena showroom had Thomas authentic jerseys, replica jerseys and jersey T-shirts for sale. They were out displayed on their merchandise racks when I was there Saturday. I almost got a jersey T shirt to replace the one I bought at Venture but decided mine could last a few more years.
