YES, it looks like they'll be having the games on the days I don't have class. Thanks for working around my schedule, guys.

Screw Selig for pushing the playoffs back into November. Ridiculous.

This is the last year it will ever happen. He didn't like it either.

what hurt last year were scheduled days off when both teams didnt have to trasvel and of course, weather.

the alcs is a 2-3-2- series with only two possible days off. last year, i think it was 4-5 days off from game 1-6

Besides ending in November, the spacing is a lot better this year.

This schedule sets up very well for the Sox rotation. Based on the current rotation timetable, Danks will pitch on Thursday,Sept 30 vs the Red Sox, then he be ready to go on wed,10/6, vs the Yanks. Floyd will go on 10/7, then MB,Edwin and Danks can go on 10/9, 10/10 and 10/11 at home...with Gavin and MB ready to finish off the yanks back in NY on 10/13 and 10/14.

Of course, the way it is looking,if the Sox do win the division, they may face the Rays, and get to open the series at home...still, same rotation will apply. Best case? Rays stumble down the stretch, Sox win division,Twins take wildcard and play the Yanks with the Sox facing the fading Rangers.

What? This makes no sense. The ALDS is best of 5.

I agree it's silly, but I kind of enjoy still having baseball in November. I miss it when it's gone.

I miss it too, but baseball should not be played in November. It was okay during 2001 because of extenuating circumstances, but otherwise it's beyond stupid.
