Colby Rasmus has been requesting a trade. Apparently he did in '09 as well. La Russa and Colby don't get along well evidently. More here:

Well, I suspect it will have to wait until the off season because he is not going to clear waivers. I would love for the Sox to get him, but we don't exactly have a lot of tradeable parts here.

They should ship him to the Pirates. He'd start to appreciate St. Louis around June.

He's a young 5-tool outfielder with a little bit of plate discipline who also happens to bat from the left side. Basically everything this team could definitely use more of. If we got him, I would be ECSTATIC. This kid has the potential to be even better than Rios.
