I did some scouring, and the guys listed below have been either put on waivers, cleared waivers, or have been DFA'd.

Randy Flores

Brian Fuentes

Brian Tallet

or they could always go get David Riske or Bob Howry back to the southside. :redneck

Any interest? I'd take a stab a Fuentes if the Angels are serious.

At this point, I would get any arm I can get. Whoever is the hardest thrower is down on the farm I'd bring him up.

Do the Sox have any arms in the minors that could help shore up the BP?

Rumor has it that Harrell is coming...his rumor,on facebook..who knows?
I liked Harrell better than Torres in their starts this year with the Sox.

I thought Nunez was a decent prospect?

Torres just started, so he wouldn't be able to pitch.

They were both very wild, don't know if that helps for short relief.

On brewerfan.net they are saying the White Sox claimed T.Hoffman.

Harrell settled down. The biggest advantage Harrell has over Torres is he's more of a ground ball pitcher.

But they're just going to take over for Pena's long relief role, they need someone else. Pena in a set up role = yowsers!

Which makes no sense. Why wouldn't the Brewers just drop his contract on the Sox? Very hard to believe someone would claim him.

I kinda think that's the idea.

He's got a no trade, so they might not be able to drop it, but for a guy probably at the end of the line, one more playoff run may make him change his mind.

Really? Interesting. I would think this is to block the Twins, but with Putz and Thornton down, who knows.
