Yesterday when I watched the bullpen self-destruct, I was started wondering how our former reliever - Chad Bradford - has been doing with the A's.

A few weeks ago Bernstein/Boers were talking to A's manager Art Howe. Bernstein made a joke about the Sox winning the Bradford for Olivo trade. Howe had an interesting reply, "well, Chad is contributing for us on the ML level" or something like that.

Olivo seems like a good prospect, but I wouldn't mind having Bradford around in our pen.

You might want to look at Alan Embree's stats too. They were pretty stellar for San Diego, he got traded to Boston over the weekend.

But I don't pit much stock in his stats. He wasn't that good before he was with the Sox. Either he is just c oming around or its a fluke. Both and he Bradford didn't do anything with the Sox. Yea it would be nice to have Bradford, but it took him a while to get good too.

Bradford was okay with the Sox - pretty good pitcher. Probably only wanted one sidewinder. We could use a blossomed Olivo, though.
Embree was horrible.
