This is possibly their first host that I absolutely cannot stand. Bad move.

This is possibly their first host that I absolutely cannot stand. Bad move.

They seem to be going the clown route with some of the recent additions: Kevin Millar, Eric Byrnes, Rex Hudler.

Eric Byrnes is worse.

I agree I do not like Hudler either, they were interviewing Stephen Drew and in the middle of Drew's sentance Hudler interrupted him... it got a little awkward, and then Hudler finished his questions.

I hope this isn't what MLB Network is going to keep doing. They need to stay classy or at least when they get a goofball, get ones that know how to be serious.

I don't like Byrnes or Hudler...

Over the years i've heard Steve Physioc have to cut that guy off and kind of, reign him in, when he went off on one of his tangents ..

Wait, isn't he one of the announcers for MLB The Show? Oh man, if he's who I think he is, I'm dreading this move.

Rex "Weed Man" Hudler is a douche; I couldn't stand him when he announced for the Angels.

Watching him has been brutal. Dude cannot sit still for more than eight seconds. He is 1000x more annoying than Byrnes.

Agree.

Eric Byrnes is worse.

Totally agree. The other night he pulled out his cell phone and played "Casey Jones" however it was at the lyric "driving that train, high on cocaine" and immediately Greg Amsinger said "I don't think we can play that on TV"

I definitely don't like the goofball route they're taking. I'm also not fond of Dan Plesac.

Their both bad, I love Millar though.

Millar is the worst. He talks in absolutes too often ... and he's a clown. He loves the sound of his voice and laughs at his "jokes."

Rex "Weed Man" Hudler is a douche; I couldn't stand him when he announced for the Angels.

I remember where he had a stretch (only a few weeks thank goodness) where he referred to every player on the Angels by their first initial and first syllable of their last name ala A-Rod.

However, this resulted in such nonsense as...

M-Nap (Mike Napoli)
C-Fig (Chone Figgens)
E-Sant (Ervin Santana)
H-Ken (Howie Kendrick)

It was statements like, "So I was talking to H-Ken this morning about a shot M-Nap hit in BP...", that were enough to make me want to slit my wrists.

MLB Network has to be careful with where they are going, if you keep hiring guys for their "personality" who contribute nothing to the discussion you could wind up like ESPN in a hurry.

He's bad, and he's obsessed with men's hair.

I also hate when Chris Rose anchors on MLB. He's a deutsche bank.

reminds me of this from the film Good Morning Vietnam .. "Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P" ..
