I know Rios would make that play. I would hope they all could. (All MLB CFs)

Looks like it hurt bad, but not that great of a play.

The Rockies trainer reminds me of Phil Mickelson....

It's not as grindy as Rowand's catch in Philly!

I don't think this even needs teal!

Interesting. I watched the Channel 5 news. They showed the catch and cut away after he came down with it and there was no mention of the fact he did not get up right away or was in pain. They just said he took away a HR from the Cubs.

What??? :?: He stole a home run ball and kept it in his glove as he slammed up against the wall and fell to the ground. Keeping the ball in his glove in itself is a good play.

It was a very good play, but nothing to drop your jaw about (especially in this season, the year of the web gems).

But since it was done against the Cubs, it will get a lot of play on this board.

He caught a ball that he didn't even need to jump for. He misjudged where the wall was at so thats why he jumped. Again, it's not a bad play, but it isn't very special at all.

Oh, and it wouldn't have been gone

Do we hate the Cubs that much that we'd pretend that was an outstanding play?

Would have hit the wall too, probably.

Definitely can't say for sure one way or the other. It very well might have left the yard.

Only if he pulled a Jose Canseco.

I don't care who it was against; a great catch is a great catch.
