Good for Pods. He can play for another division winner.

Good. Now we won't have to listen to people bitch about us trading him whenever we play the Royals, right? :crossfingers:

They've got their work cut out for them to win that division. Good thing that they're 25-8 against the other clubs, but they're in a 5-game hole right now and in 3rd.

A Sox/Dodgers World Series rematch would be the coolest ****ing thing in the world.

Pods hit .407 in July so far...and is second in the league in steals...he would be leading the Sox in hitting with a .310 average, and third in RBIs at 46...he really sucks.

The Dodgers are in danger of falling out of the race. I'm not sure why they need Podsednik. What he brings, at best, seems to be what Pierre gave them last year, and they considered that expendable.

What the Dodgers need is pitching.

I agree. Pods has certainly resurrected his career over the past two seasons. Pretty good for a guy who was released and almost completely out of baseball. (Thank you very much Kenny Williams).

Most players have weak areas in their game. Pods is one of them, however I will always like him for his time with the SOX and his walk-off World Series home run!

Uh, I'd be fine with a Sox vs. Anybody World Series.

He is one of the worst outfielders in the league...and like I said before one of the worst baserunners in baseball. I never said he couldn't hit nor did I say he sucked.

At least not until Elisaul Pimentel throws 6.2 shutout innings against us in his major league debut in 2012.

He has been a World Series champion with the Chicago White Sox [in 2005],'' Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said. "He brings speed, he is a good hitter, he can play left field or center field if necessary, and he can drive in runs. With Reed Johnson and Manny being out and not knowing exactly when they'll be back and not knowing if they will have additional issues the rest of the season, this is a safeguard against them having any trouble staying on the field.''

Center field?

They can still get pitching; it's not as though trading low-ceiling prospects for emergency outfield help precludes further deals.

Center field? :lol:Would you rather have Rob Mackowiak out there? :whiner:
