Cool. Nice to see that he wont be having to play for as crappy of a team. He deserves it.

I feel the same way. I'm sure he wouldn't mind making this move!

The whole we get Juan Pierre from the Dodgers and they get Pods thing...

Does this mean that LA would send Ely and Link to KC in exchange for Pods?

Definitely ironic. Interesting to see what the Royals would get in return, but I'd bet it'd be next to nothing... so, LA gets Ely, Link and Pods for Pierre? That's a Cubs-Pirates type deal... nice work L.A.

Except Pods has played 4 months of the season somewhere else......just saying.

If this move comes about, it will weaken the Royals for this year. The Royals have more games left vs. the twins and tigers than the Sox. I dont like this move one bit.

Based the past 3 days it doesn't matter if Pods is there or not against Minnesota.

Exaggerate much? I find it hilarious that Ely is suddenly a top flight starter.
I'm not a huge fan of Pierre, but I have no problem with what we gave up in that trade. A couple of guys who would have minimal impact on the White Sox at best.

It's done, and there's a thread in Talking Baseball.
