I am browsing video highlights on Whitesox.com

Maybe if I get bored enough, I will compile a list of links to my favorite moments of the first half of the season.

I might go insane from watching the same 2-3 ads over and over again, though

Ignoring all All-Star events except for the actual game and trying to finish reading Stieg Larsson's "Millenium" Series.

As a welcome break. I'm behind on a few things. Like repairs to my house

I hate the all-star break. The only good thing is that since MLB.TV is free this week, you can watch archived games from 2005. I just watched the AJ walk off game against the Dodgers (of course only the good parts )

And it's shorter than it was last year. I think we'll all live.

I just bought Season 12 of The Simpsons at Best Buy today. That should keep me occupied for awhile.

I LOVE that book! I love any book that features Jackie Robinson, though.

****, I went out of town this weekend and totally forgot about that! Good thing the stuff will be aired on the NHL Network throughout the summer as well, so I'll get my VCR and tapes ready to record each win!

going back and forth between feeling antsy for Thursday and smiling about being in 1st place. Actually spent the evening with my husband checking out Peoria's new children's hospital. It is amazing.A vision of the future.

We are in a better position than 2009, so I honestly cannot wait for it to end. Anxious to see how we respond to the off time.

I will be rooting for the AL so we can have home field advantage in the 2010 World Series.

Game 1 of the ALDS vs Boston
and also, don't forget about some games from 2008:D:

Their stuff is really good, and they put on amazing concerts. I went to their concert a few months back and they played for nearly 4 hours.

Yeah, I know, but I'm still watching and holding out hope that he'll right the ship. How many shows had problems when they first hit the air and eventually found their legs? Fingers crossed.

His show failed after a season on HBO a few years back, so I'm preparing for the worse!

Apparently it's not at the Ravinia, but somewhere in the burbs? It makes no sense to me. I dunno, I'm mostly going for my friend. She's making all the plans.

I watched the 2008 game against the Tigers and then game 163. When Alexei hit that home run, that is about as happy as you will ever see a major leaguer.

LOL, Alexei's facial expression cracked me up big time! When he hit that, I started to get myself ready to head to the ballpark to get in line for a ticket to Game 163. I was one of the fortunate ones to get a ticket to the tiebreaker! Let's just hope this season isn't that close, and our guys are able to close things out sometime during that Boston series (it would be nice for them to clinch the division at home and have the entire weekend that followed to set up their rotation and rest some key guys a bit).

Yeah, that's what she told me just now. Oops. I think someone told me it was downtown once and it stuck.
