1st place at the break scenario:
Sox take 2 out of 3 from KC
Twins take 2 out of 3 from Detroit

Standings at the break:
White Sox 48-39
Tigers 47-39
Twins 47-41

Hold on to your seatbelts, second half is going to be quite a ride.

One month ago, on June 9th, the White Sox were 9 1/2 games out of first place .. today,July 9th, we are 1/2 game behind .. in the last 28 games the starting rotation is 17-5 with an era of 2.35 .. just amazing

I think it should be said that Minnesota played horribly in June and Detroit kind of meandered a little bit above 0.500. I don't think we'll be that lucky again this season.

So that just means the White Sox are just going to have to keep winning. I can live with that.

Ha. Would love for that to happen, but wouldn't count on it.
