View Full Version : Seriously, though...churros.

I never took these things seriously and always just kind of laughed them off here at WSI...

But I've had a vanilla-filled churro at every single game I've been to this year. It is now a full-fledged tradition for me. :D:

Thank you for showing me the light, churro-lovers of WSI.

I thought about getting a churro to dunk in my root beer float, but somehow I thought it was a bridge too far.

I like the plain ones best. But really, a churro is really good any way it's made, especially if it's warm.

I have a churro every time I go to a game. I just wish they had apple.

I love the plain, chocolate, and strawberry ones.

Haven't had vanilla yet though. I'll have to try one if I make it out to Thursday's game like I am hoping.

Well, churros were made to dunk in hot chocolate. I say go for it.

I've gotten a churro at every game I've been to since '08 (mainly due to pressure from WSI). I bought a chocolate one at the game last night. Can anyone tell me how the obsession started?

My neighbor is the churro vendor - he gave me a box of churros after a game earlier this year.

I remember churros even from the second Bill Veeck regime. They're a fun treat, and they're a tradition.

I love them, especially the ones at the Cell. But I'm sorry, I'm not going to get one every game I go to, especially when they cost $4.

I wouldn't know a churro from a taco. But they must be good. I try and stay away from high in saturated fat foods. Maybe someday I'll break down

Every one in a while, I go see Arturo whom I get churros (or, sometimes elotes/corn off the cob) from.

When I was at US Cellular last year I walked by a stand and had to buy one just because of WSI.

What did you think of it, just out of curiosity?

Meh, they are decent. Wouldn't go out of my way for one.

I justify it with the fact that I eat at 35th Street Red Hots before every game, so I spend no more than $7 on eating for a game.

Blasphemy. Forgive this man, oh ye beloved, powerful churros god in the firework covered sky. He knows not what he says.

It was pretty tasty but I still don't understand WSI's undying love for them.

Don't treat a friend to their first churro near the end of an evening game. When they get cold, they get nasty.

We do that a lot also, or take a foot-long sub into the game. Buying a ticket package is already more than I can afford, haha.

the churros at the cell are good, but the churros from xoco are worth killing over.
