I hope he is ok, but that Cub fan in Milwaukee died after falling on the field from a shorter distance. It doesn't take much to kill you.

An off duty paramedic was among the first to respond.

He told the news media the victim was conscious, not bleeding, no obvious broken bones, but "had the wind knocked out of him."

Victim now at Fort Worth hospital for treatment.

They said on the Rangers postgame that he had a punctured lung and swelling in the skull.

Ugh. This is why I hate sitting in the upper deck. I love it for the view, hate it for my fear of heights.

It always freaks me out when people lean over the edge for a foul ball....

It is the dumbest thing in the world to fight for a $6 baseball.

Watching grown men act like children sickens me.

I feel real bad for this guy, hope he makes it ok.

How are you both sickened and sympathetic about this guy?

At the Sunday Sox/Cubs game at Wrigley, a guy nearly went over the railing trying to catch one of the Hawks jerseys (er, sweaters) thrown from the press box after the 7th inning stretch.

Saw this on ESPN this AM, theres no footage of the actual fall(good). But the players who may have saw it looked like they were going to faint.

Hope the person will be OK.....

Remember that joker that fell into the net in NY when the Sox were there? I think that was 2005.

Yes I do, saw it on TV...the guy just sat there on the net looking dazed. Then IIRC security gingerly made their way out to get him.

He didn't fall, he jumped, on a dare from his friends.

I was in New York and attended that game. The guy was motionless for several minutes and then, IIRC, NYPD came and walked him off the screen
