Looking at the radar I'd guess yes. Expect a nice fat rain delay followed by an hour or so of baseball then another delay and then they should be able to finish. The bulk of the system is going north of the city unless it turns or the southern part fills in the gap (possible as it nears the lake).

They said 745 or 8. Doppler doesn't look great, but not out of the question.

An hour or so of Jered Weaver followed by a rain delay and then the Angels bullpen. I like it.

Well the gap closed up, so I'd say if they play at all, we're looking at at least another hour, maybe 1.5. Wouldn't be shocked if they call it altogether.

So would they go with a day-night DH tomorrow, or Thursday?

I'd imagine tomorrow. I can't see them being able to do a split game on Thursday so they'd have to make it a true DH and I doubt they want to lose the revenue.

It's been quiet in the near West Suburbs for a good 45 minutes or so - and the sky looks pretty good - so I would think they'd be able to get going soon. Of course, that would interrupt the awesome rain delay theater on the U, so I'm kind of torn...

The forecast isn't great for the remainder of this series, especially Thursday. I bet they wau this out a while tonight.

The radar is hard to read tonight. This entire system seems to be moving really slowly.

Well if they've got that long then they might give it a go, but the back end is coming and it's going to last longer than I originally thought according to the future prediction on the Weather website.

However it will take 30 minutes to get the trap up and get people warmed up, so who knows...

Well that actually looks a lot more promising than the one I was looking at. Nice fat gap in those clouds. I imagine they will have to start it or risk pissing off the people at the park anyway...

Okay, so I am not a weatherman. Hope they can get it in.

Oh and just a reminder, this is not the game thread...
