Not sure what makes me happier the send down of the Williams or the bringing back of Bobby

Potentially great news, at the very least Williams is gone. Hopefully Threets continues his success, and it's good to have Bobby back.

Now if only Linebrink could get shot out of a cannon....

We should offer him to the Cubs. He can be a calm and stabilizing presence for their pitching staff.
Oh wait, I forgot, all is calm on the Cubs' pitching staff now that the "New York doctors" are fixing "the problem."

Glad to hear that Bobby is back. I assume that this means his wife is doing better.

I almost feel bad for Randy -- he did well in Charlotte but just couldn't put it together here. I hope he gets another shot somewhere.

Good riddance to Williams.
A nice little upgrade to our bullpen.

Do you think we could get rid of Linebrink and Williams if we include a bag of balls and a case of bats for the other team?

I hear the Tigers could use bullpen help. Make it happen Kenny! :redneck

Yeah, I was hoping he could be a decent LOOGY out of the pen to keep Thornton's arm fresh. It's always nice to see underdogs or has-beens find success but I guess it didn't happen this time. Having said that, and no offense to Randy, I couldn't be more ecstatic to see him gone. He made me nervous every time he went out there no matter what the score was.

Good news for our bullpen. I'm shocked Williams lasted that long up here...

Good to have the big man back.
I hope Williams pitches well in AAA and gets another shot with someone else somewhere down the road. He had a pretty cool story. Poor guy had a clip of himself getting cut from spring training airing on MLB network as a portion of the commercial promoting the SOX show.

I agree, and have been pulling for Randy to make good...but in the end..he was just not good enough.

You forgot "Gatorade machines and coolers just outside the door which is slightly ajar so he has a hint of what is outside...."
