If the WS go 2-4 on this trip, look for KW to act on his "changes must be made" statement.

Yeah, that's about right. I won't be pissed at 4-2. 3-3 is a failure.

Sox have to win 4 games a week until the break to get to over .500. Will they do it? Probably not, but that's what I'm looking for.

I agree. 4W-2L against a bad Pirates and bad Nationals team. 5W-1L would be what we really need though. I want the Sox to at least be 5 games back by the All Star Break. We are still within striking distance of making a run at the Twins if that can happen.

Jeez, I thought the OP just made this thread and was about to point out that we're at home this week. I even got up to check my calendar to make sure. I need coffee or something.

Anyway, glad to see it turned out better than most predicted.

8-1 is the best Sox road trip since they went 7-0 in Cleveland and New York in 2000.

Well, week 1, and they knock 6 off like nothing. :D:

4 a week, and they're at 46-41 at the break. I'd take that in a heartbeat.

I remember it well. What a blast that first home game was after that trip. A bunch of us decided that day to go, got upper deck seats all the way down the line, there was a huge walk-up that night. Everyone stood and cheered for the intros, without being told to.

I can't go Tuesday but I'm there Wednesday night. Sure, ATL is a much better team than we've been facing. But I hope this homestand has some of that energy.
