Cubs lose another one to the Pirates, 1-7 on the season against Pitt.
I love it.

I hate to admit this, but the Cubs misery does help lessen some of the misery of the Sox sucking. Not a lot, but a little.

I have a feeling the Sox are going to have some trouble with the Pirates as well.

I feel the same. It at least is nice to have shared misery on both sides of town.

The problem is most "Cub" fans aren't real Cub fans so as long as Wrigley is there they don't care. But watching them lose is always fun. Nowhere near as fun as us winning though. Sigh. Can't have everything I guess.

At least I don't have to listen to a bunch of jagbag Cub fans preaching about how "this will be the year."

Looks like the last remnants of that train ditched last year.

I briefly saw Lou on Sportsrise this AM for a post game interview. He was kicked back, unshaven and had the look of a guy who just didn't give a rats ***.

This morning on Mully & Hanely, they compared Lou and his look to that of a homeless man and to a guy who went mountain climbing a few months ago, having just thrown in the towel on his appearance.

Especially if Eveland pitches against us.

You just KNOW we won't be lucky enough to miss him. I was at the game a month ago against the Jays when he shut us out. Our hitters had zero chance against him.
