Who else saw this? Just when you think everything in baseball that could happen has happened...

Film? Dislocated shoulder from spiking a football after scoring, I've seen.

Only a fool would ever think this.

I don't know about this.

I have a pretty damn good hunch that someone has hurt himself celebrating a walk-off before.

Well, duh.

It was obviously a (somewhat effective use of hyperbole.) Due to the massive number of games played a year, and the fact that it has such a long history here in the States, a huge number of potential situations has occurred in the major leagues. Obviously, not everything.

Today was the first time a pitcher named John Danks pitched four innings and lost to the Tampa Rays on the same night as a Hall & Oates concert at Tropicana. It was also the first time the White Sox played a game on May 29th, 2010.

I know. I was hoping I wouldn't need to use teal for once. :(:

Just a matter of time a player gets hurt acting like they won the World Series when they only won a game.

I assume you mean " 'it's about time' a player gets hurt..."

If I say "It's about time", I get slammed. Let's just say I hate the walk off throwing the helmet in the air, dogpile, punching the guy, shaving cream in the face, etc. If you get hurt acting like that, you pretty much deserve what you get.

This is particularly awful, IMO.

Paulie for Figgins.

I would rater ask for Brandon Wood and Napoli who could replace AJ if they move him and DH this year.

Just thinking here. Is it right to call it a walkoff homer if the guy breaks his leg and can't walk off?

Baseball injuries are the best.

It's the Angels that need the first baseman. Napoli was there instead of catching, but they are looking for someone until Morales returns at the end of the year (at the earliest). I don't know who could be had for a trade for PK.

Another Angel hit a walk off home run today, and the Angels had a much mellower celebration.
