Changing the name back to Mark Twain.

Good for them though. Mark Twain was a better choice and gave more to society than McGwire ever could. Why would they rename it in the first place!?!?

Wait.... In '98 couldn't they find another stretch of road to name after McGuire in the entire state that wasn't already dedicated to anyone?

Maybe if a Maple Street was named after Mcgwire but not a Twain street.

Interesting; the article mentions that only six miles of I-70 are named after him. I always assumed it was the entire stretch of I-70 in Missouri - which just happens to go right past Royals Stadium as well.
