Not sure if this is relevant for the Clubhouse, but I'm all confused now. I have Extra Innings on DirecTV. Its Saturday at 2pm, and Fox is showing the Braves game down here.

Shouldn't the Sox/Yanks be blacked out? Its not.

I don't get the game on extra innings.

No, because Fox has rights to the 2pm game. I believe this is a change from years past.

Strange. I can see the CSN and YES feeds, and other MLB games as well.

No, because Fox has rights to the 3pm game. I believe this is a change from years past.

3pm Central? If so, what happens if the Sox game goes over? Will they cut my feed?

Hmmmmm...

That must be DirecTV only, because my digital cable schedule doesn't show any Extra Innings games this afternoon. That is one of the reasons why I switched to MLB.TV this year, which does have the pre-Fox Saturday afternoon games too.

Any game started at 1 pm eastern or earlier cannot be blacked out because of a FOX game.

I would think that since you actually paid for the extra innings package, or any other paid package that you would still get to see any game....

But like they say, sense is not always common...
