Congrats, broke Thome's record for most April Homers by a Sox player

What a great start by a great captain. I can't ask for anything more from him...except an extension.

Paulie's contract is up at the end of this year.

Nice to see Paulie put up good numbers for once. It's been much too long.

Don't you get tired of running around throwing wet towels on everyone's good mood?

Just stop, dude. Your negative comments might hold some merit in other threads, but this is just stupid.

And I'm not the original poster (Konerko14- dancing banana), nor am I a huge Konerko fan. I've had this name since '99. Just keep your negativity somewhat stable. You still might be able to keep some credibility.

Konerko's past history of being an offensive disappoint only makes his current performance more enjoyable. It's good to see a player bounce back.

an offensive disappointment? 340 HR, over a thousand RBI's, and a .277 career average is a offensive disappointment?

How can you bounce back if you say he has had such a disappointing career? I don't get it...

The sad thing is, I actually think he was trying to make a nice comment.

Poor Mr. Burns.

Anyone want to bet even if he stays at this exact place, he doesn't make the All-Star team?

At this point who else would be a reasonable pick over him??

Plus, are you saying if Paulie had 30 HR, 70 RBI at the break he would NOT be the first White Sox player considered and picked?

Not a chance he does not get picked under these scenarios.
