Seattle's Doug Fister 2/3 of the way there vs. Baltimore.

I shouldn't have taken the time to find the box score.

Apparently he threw 4 innings of no hit ball during his last start...close enough!

MLB Network will be showing the game when Fister returns to the mound.

Womp womp. Thanks for nothing, Markakis.

I find it odd how Ubaldo Jimenez hasn't gotten a lot of coverage after his no-hitter....or has he? I don't go to ESPN.com a lot.

Too bad, coupled with Ubaldo Jimenez's no-hitter on Saturday, it would have been the closest no-no's since Dave Stewart (http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/TOR/TOR199006290.shtml) and Fernando Valenzuela (http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/LAN/LAN199006290.shtml) no-hit the Blue Jays and Cardinals, respectively, on the same day; June 29, 1990.

Well, call your sons, daughters, cousins, etc. Buehrle is pitching against the Rays this week. Last he faced them, Dewayne Wise made a nice catch.

Fister had 3 strikeouts on the night... Which leads to a really, really unfortunate screen grab.

While the lettering is unfortunate (most fans have the sense to turn the 3rd K around) I'm a fan of the "fist" on each picture.

You turn the "K" around when it's a called strike 3.

Yep, backwards K is for a strike out that is called. Of course, 1 of Fister's 3 K's was a called.
