Lou said the Cubs are on the cusp of winning (http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100403&content_id=9069232&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb) the World Series.

When did the St. Louis Cardinals leave the NL Central?

When did the St. Louis Cardinals leave the NL Central?

Or the Phillies, Dodgers or Rockies leave the NL?

Aw, cmon. it's Opening Day. Everyone says that, including Ozzie.

I agree that they throw those two words around way too much on the North Side, which is partially their own undoing.

Let them have their pipe dream for one day, reality will set in soon enough...

I'm on the cusp of being a Taurus, but I'll always be an Aries. Not that I care about astrology, though.

To your credit, you didn't let not caring about astrology get in the way of a fine analogy.

Don't you have to win a playoff game to get to Series?

The Cubs are walking jinxes so it shouldn't matter what Piniella has to say

I was going to say that, or doesn't your "Ace" need to act like he's been there before?

Year One.

More like year 101, only it is really 102. (Sorry, I know lame, I needed to lay that line on someone)

I just tell my Cub fan friends that the Cubs forgot to add the "02" at the end of the slogan.
