Seriously, it's ST. I could understand if maybe this was a reg season game for the altercation but ST? Come on.

Lee immediately gets the label of ass-hat for throwing at another player's head.

He should see a suspension for this. I don't care if it's spring training, you don't throw at someone's head for ANY reason.

There are a few players that deserve one in their ear.

Lee obviously did that intentionally, but at least he was smart enough to lie about it.

When the Sox throw at somebody, they admit to it and draw fines and suspensions from the league office.

Well, I disagree with throwing at someone's head, but there have been a number of instances of pitchers evening things up in spring training. One even involved Ed Farmer hitting his then teammate in an intrasquad game.

The whole "evening things up" culture is immature and stupid to me, but I guess I'd rather act like kids during ST than the regular season.

It's better to throw at someone in ST. If you do it in a real game, it can hurt your team.

It's a good call. You can't have guys pulling stupid crap like that in spring training.

Yeah, but he can still appeal if he wants.

Lee's 5 game suspension has been lifted per Jon Heyman.

I don't really understand this as it was pretty clear that he threw the ball at the guy's head intentionally.
