--------------------------------

Folks:

I'll update this every few days when I'm in town, (next week I'll be at the Big Sky Conference Women's Basketball Tournament from Wednesday through Saturday) as information becomes available via the satellite guide (which generally lists 72 hours in advance).

Depending on where you live there should be plenty of chances to see the Sox on TV in the spring via the regional sports networks PLUS remember as part of trying to get fans to purchase the Extra Innings package, DirecTV will have a "free preview" and remove the blackout restrictions on all games and regional sports networks showing them during March. Usually it's the final week of spring training but you should check often to be sure.

All channel numbers are DirecTV only!

------------------------------

March 4 - Sox at Angels. Live on channel 692 (Fox Sports West) at 4PM Chicago time. Taped replay will be shown on channel 213 (MLBN) at 10PM Chicago time.

Are ST games blacked out? I wonder if I am going to get the Angels feed. I get their FSN West channel but have not had U-Verse long enough to know if the Angels games are blacked out.

I don't have access to Padres channel 4 with U-verse so you would think they would give me at least 1 team!

Folks:

BOTH games today (Saturday) are available without blackout restrictions if you have DirecTV. The Sox-Cubs game is on WGN America so naturally that's not blacked out but also the Dodgers-Sox game is available on Prime Ticket Channel 694.

Sox are beating the Cubs and Garcia has thrown two good innings against L.A.

Folks:

I've updated the first post in this thread with the next few days information. Although there really isn't any, as none of the next four days games are televised anywhere on DirecTV. That's the Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland and Cleveland games.

I'll update again before heading to Washington State and the Big Sky Conference women's post season tournament.

Folks:

I've updated again through Saturday March 13 about the possibility of Sox games on TV this week. Check the first post in this thread. I'm off to Cheney, Washington for the Big Sky Conference women's basketball postseason tournament. Could return anywhere from Friday through Sunday depending on how the team does. I'll resume updates when I return.

I think that's Christian Marrero.

It's either Marrero or Dale Mollenhauer. I'm trying to get confirmation from someone with the Sox right now. I know it's not De Aza (30) or Kenny Jr (87).

Number 85 isn't listed on the active roster or the non-roster invitee list on the Sox site.

Scott Reifert responded to me with this:

It varies from day to day. We have numbers in the high 80s and 90s that are used for any minor league players who happen to be called up on any given day, thus no names on their backs.

Sox at Texas. Split Squad Game. Live on channel 672 (Fox Sports Southwest) at 3PM Chicago time

Lip

A minor correction: the channel number for Fox Sports Southwest for today's Sox/Rangers game is 676. (672 is FSKC)

Thanks for keeping the list updated through the spring, Lip! It's been a great resource.

Can the "What It Means To Be A White Sox" program go on here? It's not a game, but it's Sox programming. It's on WGN at 7pm Central.

It must just be in the Chicago area then because on my satellite guide for tonight it says a movie from six to eight MST on WGN America.
