Forgive me if this is posted somewhere else, but it appears this is the first TV ad of the 2010 season. Alright, alright.

Not bad. I like it better than last years and the previous years.

Not to be critical, but if you include Guillen, that's 26 different men not 25. Unless Ozzie is now part of this rotating DH :o:.

I like the ad. But, and I know this is really nitpicky: He references Ozzie and Kenny on a conference call, but then says "25 different men..." If you're including Ozzie and Kenny, shouldn't it be 27?

I really enjoyed it. The shots of the snow covering the Cell were really beautiful. The snow will soon be gone, folks! I think this is one of my favorite Sox commercials in recent years.

And I guess technically, if it's only Ozzie and Kenny on a conference call, is it still a conference call? (Although there could be other people, who are unmentioned.)

We've really picked this apart here fellas.

I also enjoy this commercial and have seen it on TV a handful of times.

BTW, I keep thinking the thread title says, "First Aid." I thought someone got hurt in camp when I read it initially! :o:

I like the Sox logo at the end - the sewn look.

A little bit of the goosebumps. 40 days and counting. :D:

The "twenty five different men" reference is correct. They are talking about the players, Ozzie and KW are the support crew who are allowed to eat donuts and sit around in the offseason.

I thought it looked beautiful. The chance to see what US Cellular field looks like in the Winter was interesting, a brilliant idea.

Still not sure about the slogan though.

I finally see that commercial all the way through. I've always wondered what the ballpark looks like in the winter and now we know.

I liked it but I didn't like the 2005 World Series Flag at the end.

I get that they wanted to get the point across that the teams goal is to win the world series. But maybe they could have had a flag waving with World Series 2010 on it?

They should of had Gene do the voice over. Now that would get me pumped!

I'm sure if there was one of those at Sox park, they would have included it.

Nobody has mentioned the possibility that there are two guys on the 25-man roster who are NOT preparing for the season.

Its a nice ad for a pre-season 'lets get pumped' kinda-vibe. Of course, really, AJ was in Florida watching WWE and Buehrle was watching tapes of his American Chopper episode, but hey, we can think that they're preparing all the time.

Have to add...I agree on the flag. A bit cheesy in my opinion. Of course, showing the trophy would've given me chills. Especially since the trophy hasn't changed (i.e., could be for 2010...).
