From Mark Gonzales notes:
"The Sox reported their highest advanced ticket sales since 2006 -- the season after their World Series title.
Opening Day (April 5 vs. the Indians), the Cubs (http://www.chicagotribune.com/topic/sports/baseball/chicago-cubs-ORSPT000165.topic) series (June 25-27) and Frank Thomas Day (http://www.chicagotribune.com/topic/arts-culture/thomas-day-PEHST000524.topic) (Aug. 29 vs. the Yankees) are close to being sold out, according to Brooks Boyer, the Sox's marketing head."

That's a very good sign... Considering the state of the economy and coming off a sub par season this is good news.
If all this extra money is coming in KW clearly didn't think Damon was a very big deal. Not quite sure myself, but I'll trust Kenny with this one.
If living with a below average DH for 3 months means we get Prince or A-Gon for the next 3 (and hopefully more), I'll live with it.

Agreed. I'm pleasantly surprised to hear this considering the poor economy and coming off a very disappointing 2009.
I just hope the Sox give fans reasons to keep coming back this year!:gulp:

I think the starting rotation has a lot of Sox fans really psyched for the coming year.

Yep. I am so glad that I can pretty much be excited about who I am going to see pitch every day now, rather than last year where I had to sit through Richard, Colon and Contreras.

Yes we fans are excited about the starting pitching, now let's hope the "speed game" works out.
