Another solid pickup. They still aren't contenders, especially in that division but they are seemingly going in the right direction. Perhaps they will eke out the Mets for second to last this year.

Isn't Wang a groundball pitcher? In that humangous stadium, he could have a very productive season.

They hold the #1 pick in the Draft, too, meaning they can grab Bryce Harper if they want.

If Strasburg and Harper live up to their potential, wow, that is as good a 2-player core to build in the Majors.

Thats true, but who really knows about this Harper kid. He left high school early to get into a community college so he'll be eligible for the draft this year.

Through his first 11 games in college he is batting .349, 3 HR, 15 RBI, 6 2B, 8 K, 6 BB, 3/4 SB. He's made 1 error in the field and 1 passed ball.

So far is looking pretty good for only being 17???? And, he's one of the bigger kids on the team.
