It's funny how bar fights that end up in the paper are always one sided. And normally the person that took the worst beating did nothing wrong. Not saying that is the case but it usually seems like that.

Mental note: don't **** with Lance Broadway.

Yeah, blind-siding a guy and possibly permanently damaging him, and then punching out several women.

Real tough guy, that Lance Broadway.

Have you SEEN the guy's photo? He almost looks disfigured. I doubt Lance is also lying in a hospital hoping he doesn't go blind in one eye.

And he punched several women. Despicable.

Too bad Lance can't throw a curveball like he throws a punch.

Allegedly.

Funny how we all look at these guys on the field and consider them "heroes" when in reality they are no different than the rest of us in many ways. We all know someone or have a friend who has a short fuse. Lance Broadway is obviously one of those guys. Seriously....After the poor guy is in a bar scoping out his friends girlfriend, Lance takes of his shirt (?!), blindsides the guy, his other pro athlete friend then kicks the guy while Lance goes on to hit innocent women.

I hope there is another side to this story, however if there isn't I hope the poor guy gets Broadway's MLB pension out of this!

Lance's new 'enter the game' song:

They Say The Man Sues After Fights With Broadway,
But we all know Lance is no star,
Especially after his fight in a bar.

I found him ripping his shirt off before the fight to be slightly amusing. Who does that?

I highly doubt he punched multiple women because he would have been arrested that night instead of waiting a few weeks.

If i'm dressed to the 10 and **** is going down you best believe:
A) I'm granting admission to the "gun show"
B) making sure my sunday best shirt doesn't get bloody

How about avoiding the confrontation altogether? Or is that too complex of an idea?

Oh, by the way, while doing your striptease act, you are completely defenseless and you will get your ass kicked like it never has before.

There is never an instance where it is okay for a man to hit a woman.

This tired refrain from yesteryear again? There are plenty of instances when its "ok" for anybody to hit anybody. I'm not sure if this was one of them but, then again, I'll opt not to jump to any conclusions until, and if, we hear an unbiased version of what went on.

Partial agreement. I don't think it's ever ok for anybody to hit anybody. However, if tempers flare and a woman is hitting me, I think I'd have the presence of mind to stop myself from hitting her. I prefer the shaking method (joke!).

But the whole "gentleman" thing is kind of played out. I tend to come from the Gandhi school of thought with things related to violence, but spare me that. It's not like I support domestic violence, but I've seen situations where the woman is the aggressor in that dynamic. Just as I think a woman has every right to fight back, so should a man.

But... this has nothing to do with Broadway. And I will also reserve judgment until we hear something from someone other than the plaintiff's lawyer.

There is never an instance where it is okay for a man to hit a woman.I mostly agree, but if a dude's being attacked by a woman and it's a life-threatening situation, I'm sure not going to fault him if he strikes out to save his own life. Obviously I'm not talking about the Broadway situation. What a douchebag.
