According to the article about the demise of the 7/11 deal, this part of the website is new. It promotes things like sponsoring a kids day, putting your ad on the outfield wall, and even re-naming the fan deck. Obviously the Sox were promoting these kinds of deals before, but it appeared to be done behind the scenes.
Even though I can't afford any of the stuff on here, I was fascinated by reading it, and I wish them luck in getting as many corporate sponsors as possible. I am a big fan of anything that makes money for the team.
