With most of us still wanting another bat, Nix or Andruw Jones would probably get the axe as we will most likely carry 12 pitchers. I would love to keep Nix, but with Vizquel here he is not needed unless we want to give Teahen a break versus a tough lefty. Just wondering, since I would love to keep Nix in this organization, is if he has any options remaining with us?

Why will we likely carry 12 pitchers? Are Torres or Nunez supposed to make the team?

Because of the high number of off days in April, AL teams usually wait until May or so to carry 12 hurlers.

So what would we do if we signed a DH? Who would be gone?

If the Sox sign a DH type player then there has to be only 6 pitchers in the bullpen. Unless they are going to dump Kotsay or Jones because they need a player like a Nix.
