Looks like the Rays solved their closer problem, while the Braves were able to dump Soriano's salary.

Now that the Rays are on the hook for 6-8 million, who are they going to shed so they can afford this guy?

That eliminates their rumored interest in Jenks. Who else is available in the relief market after Lyon signing with the 'Stros?

Fernando Rodney is still out there. I was surprised to see Lyon get so much. For 2 years I could see it but 3 is a long time for a reliever, in my opinion.

Soriano has lost a lot of time to injuries in his career. That is one of the reasons SEA gave up on him.

Keeping him healthy is a challenge.

I still think they need one-two more arms in that pen. Soriano isn't reliable with that medical history.
