This is a pretty decent deal for anyone interested. I saw this jersey in person on Friday night. It's not the typical double-knit polyester though. It's made of a combination of cotton and polyester, so the jersey material is a bit odd. Also, the SOX letters are raised and sort of fuzzy.

Anyway, the jersey is usually $79.99. At Sears right now, it's automatically reduced 20% to $64.00. On top of that, online you can use two different coupon codes:

SEARS5OFF50 ($5 off) and DECFF (another 15% off until 4am tonight).

Shipping is free. Total should be $50.15.

Decent deal, not great...but the jersey has a bit of a funky feel. It's probably actually more comfortable to wear in the summertime due to the cotton blend than a regular jersey.

They looked like space suits, but they don't look so bad when people are wearing them around.

Let me just say that I made the mistake of buying one of these and have hated it ever since. I wasted $99 on it. The polycotton material is really odd.

Hmmm, not 100% polyester like my 2003-vintage jersey is? This new version might be a little more comfortable on hot days. By the way, most of these jerseys have the raised "fuzzy" lettering although I've seen some new ones this year at the ballpark that had shiny, satiny lettering. I kind of prefer the fuzzy lettering.

I'll take Chinese fakes once and awhile for sometime a quarter of the price. Of course the real thing is always better :)

For me they recall fond memories of Old Comiskey in a time before I was born...

For me they recall fond memories of Old Comiskey in a time before I was born...There are plenty of Sox uniforms from before you were born that aren't flat-out ugly that you could use for that purpose.

True, but there aren't photos of me as a baby wearing those jerseys. I don't know but there is something about those specific uniforms (and Veeck's pajama ones) that I just absolutely love. I'm ambivilent about the ones that followed the '83 unis and I LOATHE the red pinstripes. But those two uniforms trigger fond memories that I don't really have.
