According to Will Carroll, Milton Bradley is going to Tampa Bay in trade and then the Cubs will sign Mike Cameron.

Who would they get from Tampa? Don't know if they'd get anyone from Tampa that could help them.

Why would Tampa want to add Bradley? That's subtraction by addition.

The new ownership does not want to fork over money to dump Bradley, and the risk of not being able to flip Pat Burrell, if he is indeed the guy CHC gets for him, then have to give Cameron $7-9 million a year.

I wonder if the TEX situation of Bradley for Millwood is better, as Millwood apparently has a $15 million signing bonus that has to be paid at the end of 2010, making the swap closer to break-even for both teams.

That's all that I've heard but if the flubs do have to take Burrell as we would suspect then where do they play him? Soriano is in left, Cameron and Fdome in right.

We'll have to wait and see. I can't imagine why any team would allow Bradley to come and damage their team, even for free, is beyond me.

Probably to dump Burrell, but signing Cameron makes no sense in that situation. If the Cubs get Burrell, they will have two DH's in their outfield.

Make that two very expensive DH's in their OF..... Which is what they have already.

Now that is progress!

Wait, why? Mike Cameron is still one of the premier defensive CF in the game.

So does this mean Castillo is going to the Cubs?

Alfonso Soriano would be the other DH in their outfield.

He's also one of the few players in MLB to have received a 50 game suspension for steroids...

Wrong on both counts. 25 games for amphetamines.

It makes no sense because they wouldn't have room for Cameron (or money) with Soriano, Fukudome, and Burrell.
