One would guess the Twins since they made room on the 40 man earlier today.

Now the rumor is that he's headed to an NL team.

I feel sorry for the guy. To go from a World Series team a year ago, to the bag of crap that is the Pirates.

Poor devil. Oh well, I'm sure he's well compensated for his efforts. He'll make more than most of us do, for playing a kid's game for a bad team.

It could be worse.

Yeah. according to the usual Cub fan line of thinking it was thought they were getting Iwamura and Burrell for Nuzto Bradley.

Maybe the Rays could throw in Crawford too...

I wouldn't feel too bad for him. He'll probably end up on the Yankees or Red Sox before next year's trade deadline anyway.

Poor guy. I can't imagine having to play for the Pirates and only getting millions to do so. Get a grip people.

It's not always just about the money. For some people, having a chance tyo, I don't know, play on a team with a legitimate shot to get to the post season, would be pretty important. Sorry if we feel bad from a guy a year removed from playing in the World Series has to play for a team that has I believe 17 consecutive losing seasons. Our bad.

Iwamura is a nice little player. Good top of the order hitter, good glove, lots of doubles and triples. He'll help a team that is in need of lots of help.

Maybe this will increase their interest in Getz and increase our chance of getting Crawford....:bandance:
