...whom are you cheering for now? I'll pull for the Dodgers so Thome can get the ring.

I'd like to see a Yankees-Dodgers World Series, and I'd like the Dodgers to win it so that Thome gets a ring, and Joe Torre gets to stick it to his NY critics and the Steinbrenner family.

+1. I would rather have the Angels in the World Series, but the thought of Joe Torre sticking it to the Yankees after they ditched him for a thoroughly inferior replacement would definitely make me laugh.

I sort of like the idea of a freeway World Series, with the Angels beating the Dodgers.

I wish we would get a thoroughly inferior replacement who would guide us to a 103-59 regular season record...

Watching the Cardinals lose was pretty satisfying. I've been cheering for the Dodgers the whole time.

Thanks for reminding me about Thome being a Dodger. I'd love to see Jim get a ring, but this would mean Manny Ramirez gets one too. Ugh.

But if the Dodgers do take it all, good for Jim. He deserves it. :D:

I wish we had the Yankees' spending habits.

I was never rooting for St. Louis to begin with.

Go Dodgers.

I hate rooting for the NL, but the Dodgers or Rockies are the least bad of all options.

My preference would be for Manny to get busted again for PEDs and be immediately expelled for life from baseball. Then I could support the Dodgers simply so Thome could get his ring.

I'd personally like to thank the Angels for ridding us of Boston. If they can beat either the Yankees or Twins in the ALCS, that would work for me.

In the NL, I'll root for Colorado although I have no animosity toward the Phillies and Dodgers. And I agree with the posters who have mentioned how cool it would be for Thome to get his ring.

Ditto. Now that the Cardinals are out, I'll be rooting for the Dodgers...just like I was before the Cardinals were eliminated.

Though not necessarily for a lack of boring games, pretty boring division series so far.

The Dodgers so Thome can get a ring. I want a Angles/Dodgers world series.

I hate the Yankees, and I dread another Yankees World Series. A few of them over the years I've skipped entirely, and I love baseball.

I want the Phils to win it all.

Beyond that, a "freeway" series is always exciting.

I'll be watching the ALCS, NLCS and then eventually the World Series with no specific cheering interest in mind. I suppose a NY vs. LA World Series would be fun, and it definitely would be neat to see Thome get the ring, but without Chicago (either team), I hold no solid investment in any team. I'll root against a LA vs. LA World Series, but other than that, I'm looking forward to watching some hopefully good baseball without having to care who wins.
