I think in this case, the guy is allowed a free team to follow somewhere else while his Broncos pull their heads out of their collective asses.

I have to say that I used to like Reilly a lot more. While this column is funny, it's the little stuff that I never previously saw when he was writing for SI (and admittedly, I haven't read a whole lot of his stuff). I may be nit-picking, and even stretching on this column (b/c it was better than the past few I've read), but was it necessary that he had to throw in the "just shut up and drink your beer" line. Maybe it's just seeing the stupid t-shirts everywhere from the Wrigley bleachers, but it sounds like he's trying to throw a "shout-out" to the "Cubs faithful" that he knows will be reading his ESPN comments.

Again, maybe I'm being too uptight about it, but there have been a few columns that I've just thought he's sold-out a bit on since moving from SI to ESPN.
